Wild Update: March 2009

Since last month’s Wild Update, I have volunteered to assist this fine organization. I encourage all readers to assist in helping Wildplaces empower the  youth of the Porterville area to understand and value the land above the town, which is so different from their home environments.

We are looking for volunteers for a variety of tasks, including help with directing parking, serving food and drinks, handing out information about WildPlaces, and of course keeping the trash under control.  E-mail ian@wildplaces for more information or if you would like to donate anything such as food or drink.   Check out River Ridge Ranch at www.river-ridge.net
